make a small solar power installation?
I would like to build a small solar power installation in order to connect normal 220v devices. There is no need to connect the system to the electric network.

There is not sufficient research done concerning solar energy.By their very nature they produce very little power, and the voltage sucks. Save your money and don’t bother.
If I were you I would do plenty of research on the internet.
Even wind generators are not great, you have to spend mega-bucks to even get started, to be at all successful like an installation i heard about, the guy bought old submarine batteries, had them put in a shed, and bought a huge inverter to convert to mains voltage.

You normally get 120 volts from an inverter. Only higher priced inverters will do 240 volts out of the box or you have to get two pure sine wave inverters that are stackable. So just for the inverters alone you are talking $4,000 USD.
Then you need a battery bank of the same voltage as the input voltage of the inverters. You will need enough battery power so when you turn on a large water pump or whatever. That the load will not pull the voltage below the cut off voltage of the inverters. Meaning a large battery bank.
You will need enough solar modules in your solar array to charge this large battery bank at 5% to 10% of the battery bank amp hour rating. So wild guessing like I did above you will need anywhere form 4000 watts in solar modules to 9000 wattsor more.
You should just go ahead and get a grid tie system with battery backup.
Look up on google or yahoo “solar electric backup” or “solar electric backup system” You will find the information you need.
Keep in mind to get the voltage you are wanting and to be off grid, you will not find a small solar power system.

Check out http://www.npda.co.uk.
Its the national property developers association so I’m sure someone there will be able to advise you.
You can become a member (for free) and ask in the forum.
Hope this helps!!
